1. By capacity (common)
500kg~1000kg: most commonly used, standard ton bag capacity.
Small capacity bags: 250kg, 300kg, etc., used for lighter materials.
Large capacity bags: 1500kg~2000kg, used for materials with lower density (such as plastic pellets).
2. According to size (reference)
Size and capacity are related, common bottom edge length x height:
90 × 90 × 100cm: approximately 1 ton (when the material density is 1.0g/cm ³).
100 × 100 × 120cm: Large capacity version.
Sizes can be customized: adjusted according to material density and loading and unloading methods.
3. According to the load-bearing capacity (safety factor)
Safety factor (SF): usually divided into 5:1, 6:1, and 7:1 (up to 8:1), representing the ratio of the bag's tensile strength to its rated load-bearing capacity.
SF 5:1: Standard type, suitable for ordinary dry materials.
SF 6:1: Reinforced, suitable for volatile or slightly corrosive materials.
SF 7:1: High safety type, used for dangerous goods or high-intensity transportation.
4. Structure according to shape
Circular container bag: suitable for liquids and powders (such as food and chemicals).
Square container bag: Stacked stably, saving space (commonly used in warehouse transportation).
U-shaped bag: The side is U-shaped, making unloading cleaner.
Open/Fully Open Pocket: Fully open at the top for easy loading.
Leak proof bag: lined with PE film or PE coating, moisture-proof and leak proof.
5. According to the style of the sling
Top suspension: The sling is hung directly from the top.
Side suspension: The sling is on the side for easy forklift operation.
Bottom suspension: The sling is at the bottom to distribute the load.
6. According to material and craftsmanship
Ordinary PP (polypropylene): moisture-proof, wear-resistant, suitable for non corrosive materials.
Coating/PP film: moisture-proof and dustproof, used in fine chemicals and food.
Conductive/anti-static type: used in flammable and explosive environments (such as chemical dust).
UV resistant type: suitable for long-term outdoor storage.
Food grade container bags: compliant with FDA standards, used for food, feed, etc.
7. Special purpose specifications
Food grade container bag: lined with food grade PE film, used for sugar, salt, and grains.
Anti static container bag: Surface resistance<10 ^ 9 Ω, used for chemical and metal powder applications.
Ventilation bag: Mesh structure, used for agricultural products such as potatoes and onions.
Japanese style bag (Japanese standard): Small size, commonly 850 × 850 × 850mm.
8. International standards
ISO standard: ISO 21898 (Safety Specification for Container Bags).
EU standard: EN 1898 (dangerous goods packaging).
American standards: FDA (food), OSHA (safety).
selection suggestion
Clarify material characteristics: powder, granules, liquid? Is it corrosive?
Considering the transportation environment: Do we need to be moisture-proof, anti-static, and UV resistant?
Check the loading and unloading method: lifting or forklift? Select the corresponding sling style.
Attention to regulatory requirements: Exports must comply with the standards of the destination country (such as strict certification in Europe and America).
